Consumer sign-on for the POS?
Below are steps for the consumer to take to sign up, sign on, and access existing applications.
- To access an existing loan the consumer must have the loan number. They can find this in their email as they will receive a notification when the application is first created. They may use that email as a reference for the loan number when attempting to access. Users may also always relay loan numbers to borrowers for access.
- If you are using the "Invite Consumer" option on a loan file in the LOS already, an email will go to the borrower. The borrower will click on the loan link button and be immediately directed to a page to key in a text code that is automatically sent to them. Remember to ensure their mobile is entered into the file prior to inviting the consumer to it.
- Keep in mind, this system is text-based. It is best if the consumer has a mobile phone number, as it will be the most streamlined experience. If your borrower does not have a mobile phone, cannot receive texts, has a foreign number, etc. they may use the traditional email process by clicking on the sign-up button on the top right of the landingpage.
