How to Create Okta Integration for LendingPad

Step-by-step instructions for integrating Okta with LendingPad, including Okta (Steps 1-11) and LendingPad setup (Steps 12-15) and adding users to your Okta account for streamlined access management.

1. Log in to OKTA admin account



2. Go to “Applications


3. Click on “Create App Integration

4. Select Sign-in method as “OIDC - OpenID Connect” and Application type as “Web Application


5. Provide App integration name as “LendingPad”



6. Enter Sign in/Sign out URIs and check the “Allow everyone in your organization to access” check box under assignments and save changes

 

NOTE: Please use the below URIs for the Test and Prod environments

7. Click on the pencil icon with LendingPad and upload a logo


8. Click “Sign On” and scroll down  to “User Authentication”, and click “View policy details”


9. Click on “Actions” and edit the policy






10. Set User must authenticate with to “Password + Another Factor” and save


11. Go back to the application and copy the URL(Add ".well-known/openid-configuration" at end of the URL), Client ID, and Client Secret

 

  • Follow the screenshot closely. Only highlight through the backslash at the end of .com 
  • That would be keyed into LendingPad, then at the end of that URL you would copy and paste (no spaces) what is above in quotes (do not include quotes) to have a complete URL in LendingPad.



12. Log in to LendingPad and go to “Settings


13. Click on “Security,” then click “Manage Security


14. Click “Authentication Providers” and select Okta, and enter the URL, Client Id, and Client Secret, and save


How to add users to OKTA account?


1. Log in to Okta admin account and go to Directory>People



2. Click on “Add Person”, enter the required details, and click save

NOTE: The user in OKTA should have an account in LendingPad with same email address to use OKTA option on login screen
