How to enter an FHA Gift?

This will also cover FHA source errors in AUS.

• Navigate to Loan application (Financials in version 2025) > Assets 
• Access the section by hitting the edit button
• Add new Asset 
• Label it Gift 
• Key in Dollar amount 
• Set Source type to Relative
• Leave deposited as No. 
• Hit Save 
• Navigate to Overview > Terms and Mortgage
• Hit the edit button 
• Click the "Enter Down Payment" blue link 
• Asset Type should be set to FHA Gift Source relative
• The amount should match what is in the Assets section 
• The source type should also match what is in the Assets section (relative)
• Hit Save.
