How to set user role permissions?
Please be aware of each setting, as various combinations are available. Don't have contradicting permissions, as users may encounter an error within the files.
- System admins can navigate to the Settings section
- Click on Users
- Click on User roles
- Click the blue pencil for the role you wish to edit
- Click on the loans tab
- Search for or navigate to the permission you wish to edit
- Click the blue pencil
- The system will default to statuses however admins may add a new group item to further customize permission settings.
- Set the parameter to your desired setting.
- Click Save
- Click Save again.
- These settings control at what point the edit button or viewing options are available within the files.
- System admins may use other tabs to set permissions for the user role
- If users do not see an edit button within the files then user role permissions need to be checked and altered per internal business processes.
