VA Funding Fee

Information about the Funding Fee and how to mark exempt.

• If a loan is created on/after Jan 7th, 2020, LendingPad will automatically apply the default “Funding Fee” based on the loan data.

1. On the overview > terms and mortgage 
2. Click edit on the Terms and Mortgage 
3. enter 0 in the Funding Fee percent field 
4. Click Save 
   1. If you are using the 2025 UI version there is a toggle for exempt in the Loan and Property section > Terms and Mortgage.
